The PALACE THEATRE is located at the ‘top’ of Bourke Street, Just down from the intersection of Spring & Bourke Street’s and a stone’s throw from Parliament House. For all public transport connections, check out the metlink website

The closest train station is Parliament Station, which is part of Melbourne’s ‘city loop’. Once off the train head towards the Collins St exit & you will pop out right on the corner of Bourke St – you should be able to see us from there!

There are two trams that stop directly at our front door – how convenient! They are the -#86 Bundoora/RMIT to Telstra Dome & the #96 East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach.
Just hop off at the Spring St stop (which is located on Bourke).

Of course you can catch a bus to connect with either a tram or train, check out the metlink website for connections. For a late night bus service that is a cheap & safe option as you head home you can always take the Nightrider. This departs from Swanston Street every hour between 12.30am & 4.30am on Saturday’s & Sunday’s.

Although you can nearly always hail a taxi…. we have a taxi rank conveniently located outside our front door. As an added bonus, this is one of four designated ‘Safe City Taxi Ranks’, which are staffed by a uniformed security guard from midnight on Friday & Saturday nights, until 6am. There is also a duress button and safe camera’s are in action.
